Google today announced a new instant search feature – resulting into a smarter and faster search And they Call this Feature “GOOGLE INSTANT”.

Google Instant – Search Before you Type And this will give instant results for the most likely search according to what you have already typed in.

In the Screenshot Given below you can see that I Typed “Ganesh C” in the Search Box and Google was Instantly Showing Results for the Search Query “Ganesh Chaturthi 2010”. You Can Also Notice the Grey Text Which was Suggested By Google!

Google Instant keyboard shortcuts :

    • Tab/Right arrow = Pick the first suggestion
    • Up/Down arrow = Select another suggestion from the list
    • Right arrow while selecting a suggestion = I'm Feeling Lucky
    • Enter or Esc = Ignore the suggestions and find the results for your query

    Google instant feature is great for google users but not good for webmasters. I am sure this will impact visitors for many webmasters.
